Can I come pick up my package from FedEx? ›

FedEx Hold for Pickup allows you to request packages to be held at a FedEx location. You can pick up packages on your schedule at locations that are convenient to where you work or live.

If you're the shipper and you want your package to arrive faster than the 2 day shipping time specified, sign in to your FedEx account or please call customer support to change your shipping speed. The shipping cost may be adjusted.

The FedEx Ground delivery window is 8 a.m.–8 p.m. To see FedEx Ground transit times, check the FedEx Ground map.

How do I schedule a FedEx pickup with a prepaid label? Call customer service at 1.800.GoFedEx or 1.800.463.3339. For a freight pickup, call 1.866.393.4585. Or consider dropping off your package at one of thousands of convenient locations.

You can also use our free FedEx Delivery Manager^® app to request that your package be held for pickup. Just log in and select a location that's convenient for you.

To redirect your package to be held for pickup at one of the company's FedEx locations or participating retail partners, go to the company's tracking page and follow these steps: Enter your tracking number or reference number. Select “Manage Delivery,” then “Hold at Location.”

If we didn't deliver your package on time, you may be able to request a refund or an adjusted invoice. To submit a claim, simply fill out this form and we'll either process it automatically or be in touch about the next steps.

Does FedEx deliver on weekends, including Saturday and Sunday? Yes, FedEx Home Delivery is an every-day delivery service, including Saturdays and Sundays with weekend delivery to most residential locations.

Generally, we make deliveries from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday–Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries. Residential deliveries may be eligible to be redirected to a nearby FedEx location or participating retail location like Walgreens or Dollar General to be held for pickup for up to 7 days.

If you got a message that says we'll deliver your package by end of day, your package should arrive before 8 p.m. when FedEx usually stops delivering. To get an estimated delivery time for your package, you can enter your tracking number (or other identifying reference number) into the tracking tool.

How do I know when my FedEx package will arrive? ›

Use your tracking, door tag, or FedEx Office order number to track your package. If you don't have one of those numbers, you can use a reference number related to your package or freight shipment, or any purchase order number. When you track your package, you'll see your estimated delivery time with a 4-hour window.

It will be held for pickup as early as the same day of your missed delivery attempt. Packages not picked up within 7 days will be returned to the nearest FedEx facility or shipper. Refer to your door tag for the pickup location and availability.

Pickup fees

Return: $4 per package Next Day or Future Day: $3 per package (add $1 per package scheduled by phone). Same Day: $4 per package (add $1 per package scheduled by phone). Maximum of $20 per rated week for Future Day and Same Day On-Call fees billed to your account for packages picked up at the same location.

Yes, you can pick up a package early by holding it at the post office. As long as your package has a tracking number, is being handled by USPS right before delivery, and isn't already out for delivery, it's possible to update the delivery instructions and have it held at your local post office.
